Mission Statement and Bylaws

The purpose of the Municipal Employees’ Federation is to improve the wages, hours and working conditions of its members; to promote their intellectual, social, and economic welfare; and, to represent its membership in disputes with their employers.

The duty of this organization is to engage in activities that include, but are not limited to:

• Collective Bargaining
• Organizing
• Building the Organizational Structure
• Contract Enforcement
• Communications
• Political, Legislative, and Community Action
