Federated Retirement Benefit Tiers
(updated 12/3/16)

Employees hired, rehired, or reinstated prior to September 30, 2012, are a part of the Federated City Employees’ Retirement System (FCERS) Tier 1 plan. Employees hired, re-hired, or re-instated on or after September 30, 2012, are a part of the FCERS Tier 2A plan, and those hired on or after September 28, 2013, are part of the FCERS Tier 2B or 2C plan. Below is a link to the FCERS website and summaries of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 plans.
